Raymond James welcomes experienced advisor team managing $682 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Reed Thompson, David Erwin, John Pratti, John Nolan, Patrick Sheehan and Jillian Feehan to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Ted Desautels, Northeast assistant divisional director for RJFS.
Operating as Touchpoint Financial Advisor Group in Woburn, Massachusetts, the team arrives from Commonwealth Financial Network, where they previously managed approximately $682 million in client assets. The practice is joined by client service manager Susan Nolan, who is married to advisor John Nolan, branch operations coordinator Phyllis McGee and client service associate Jennifer Rothwell. The practice serves a variety of clients including individuals, families and business owners.

Thompson has 30 years of industry experience and joins RJFS after 11 years at his previous firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Lawrence University as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Chartered Financial Consultant® and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® professional designations.
Erwin began his financial advisory career in 1994 with IDS Financial Services and joins RJFS after 16 years at his previous firm, where he focused on retirement transition and distribution planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting alongside the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
Pratti has more than 24 years of experience in financial planning. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and holds the Certified Retirement Counselor® designation.
John Nolan began his financial services career in 2017 and serves clients as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Sheehan has worked in financial services since 2022 and has a client-first coaching approach shaped by 16 years as a teacher and high school football coach. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Framingham State College and a master’s degree in mathematics from Western Governors University.
Feehan has 14 years of industry experience and joins RJFS after 10 years at her previous firm. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College.
