Alex Marty joined Raymond James Investment Banking within the Business Development Group in 2025 as a director. The group supports advisors and business owner clients through an industry-leading collaboration between the Investment Bank and Private Client Group. Leveraging a network of key transaction professionals such as legal and accounting firms, mezzanine finance, private equity and boutique investment banking firms, the team takes pride in helping advisors differentiate and add value to their client relationships.
Previously, Alex served as director of investment banking at Addicus, a diversified financial services firm and family office based in the Southeast. Prior to Addicus, Alex was a vice president at VRA Partners, an Atlanta-based boutique investment bank, where he helped lead and execute sell-side M&A transactions in the lower middle-market. Alex was also an investor at S3 Ventures, an Austin, Texas based venture capital firm focused on early-stage investments in the business technology, digital experiences and healthcare technology sectors. Alex began his career with Raymond James in 2015, where he spent two years in equity research before transitioning to investment banking where he worked in the consumer and technology & services groups through 2021. Alex graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
