Raymond James welcomes Wisconsin financial advisors managing over $200 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Melissa “Missy” Wahlen and Chris Knight to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Dominic Prioli, Upper Midwest regional director for RJA.

Operating as Wahlen Advisory Group of Raymond James in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the team arrives from Edward Jones where they previously managed over $200 million in client assets. They are joined by client service associate Dana Buchiccio. Together they serve business owners, retirees and clients experiencing sudden wealth.

“My clients deserve a steady partnership that is designed to help their multigenerational wealth strategies continue to move forward with advancements in the industry,” said Wahlen. “Raymond James not only provides leadership stability, but also a technology platform with a secure and resilient infrastructure that implements AI driven innovation. All of this allows my clients to have robust, long-lasting strategies with a clear focus on personalization.”

Wahlen brings more than 10 years of financial services industry experience to her role as senior vice president of wealth management. She holds a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in addition to a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin‑Milwaukee.

Knight began his financial services career in 2024. Prior to joining the industry, he served 11 years as president of East Town Management where he primarily worked with investors of commercial and residential real estate.
