Raymond James welcomes father-son advisor duo managing $420 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors John Murphy and Sean Murphy, CFP®, ChFC®, to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel.
The father-son team joins from Edward Jones where they managed $420 million in client assets. As Forsa Wealth Partners, based in Chesapeake, Virginia, they provide holistic financial planning to a variety of clients, specializing in high-net-worth families and individuals, business owners and corporate executives. They are joined by financial professional Megan Howell, AAMS®.

John, father to Sean, is a U.S. Navy veteran who served from 1986 to 1992. He joins Raymond James after more than three decades with Edward Jones, including 13 years as a regional leader and 10 years as a general partner.
Sean joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Hood College and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations.
